you can see much interesting and pretty bizarre things. but at the second sight it might turn out to be a very useful contrivance.

a visit to the dentist
begging pardon for my long absence. i was on business trip to ural region, putting it more precisely, in Ekaterinburg.
this capital of the ural welcomed me with cold arms of the tough weather which was reining there. there was minus 24 degrees Celsius. there were cold wind blowing and snow crisping underfoot.
my goal was to participate finance directors forum with a short presentation on our erp solution in part of their tasks and how possible to find leads.
as you know it's no use preaching to a hungry man, so there was a lunch where i broke my tooth - a molar tooth. damn! it was not a fight! it was just a lunch! i eat no meat and they gave me rice but, alas! some grains were boiled dry.
a visit to the dentist is not pretty good thing for me. i remember very well how it was in old times. i mean no ancient times but soviet russian stomatologies. it was a real torture. i know nowadays it is a different story but somewhere inside of me still lives a fear.
anyway i have my tooth fixed and i am going to get two another ones fixed on wednesday mo(u)rning. it will be so exciting because now it is two corner teeth. brrrrrrr!!!!

pasta project
this is a net of cafes in moscow where you might easily order any dish just by clicking on the screen which is set up on the table.
menu is not very numerous but sufficient if you are starving. as far as you can see from the name the most of it is devoted to italianian cuisine - pasta, salads etc.
what concerns buzz, it is represented in wines and beer including non-alcohol klaustaler what i prefer for the time being.
here is their site.

museum of moscow's history
many times i was coming by this building on the Old Square on the opposite side of the Polytechnic Museum (near Lubyanka - KGB-FSB nest)
it is a former church of Ioann Bogoslov under elm.
not much interesting is waiting for you inside.
as a matter of fact, i have learnt three facts:
the museum was founded in 1896. the plate reports about that.
their vaults were used as a cemetery for church servants.
cloakroom attendants were very happy to tell me about this.
first settlements were in this region in 6000-8000 b.c. and it were finno-ugrian and then some baltic tribes. they lived in Diakovo Gorodishe in Kolomenskoye - my favourite place of Moscow.
here is a virtual tour of this museum, not so big but enough to get a general idea. honestly speaking, the most interesting stuff is the plan of moscow of XVII century which was made by some foreign traveller - i am sure he was the real adventurer! there we can see the Neglinka river which flowed along the kremlin. nowadays it is still flowing under the ground and the Troitskiy Bridge linking Kutafya tower and Troitskaya tower is a proof of that.
unfortunately the other bridge - Voskresenskiy - remains at pictures only.
... and maybe the Vasnetsov's pictures of moscow kremlin from the beginning in 1147 to XX century.

it's been a hard day's night
today i managed to do a lot of things:
- prepared a presentation
- showed this one to a potential client's staff
- made a reference call
- made a reference visit
summing up i would say it was pretty good. at least i saw one loyal client and heard the other. if everyting turns out happily it will be another patch for my sales target gap. i do hope.
oh! i nearly forgot! i prepared (i mean i organize my workmates) my business travel to ekaterinburg on monday. i am going to participate the finance directors' forum where i have a short report about our erp solution.
my plan is to do that with verve! i haven't done it for a long time. will see.
and more. i will be posting some small pictures about those places where i am during the period which i review.
today it were a small dark alley - Lytshikov side street
and Paveletskaya square. look and enjoy!
all photos are the property of their owners or mine - this disclaimer is the one and only for the future

just to be honest from the beginning
as i have ever been honest before, i will be so further.
this place contains no interesting or extraordinary things - it is started by me exclusively to improve my skill which helps me to form the russian way of thinking into english. that's it.
hope it won't be so dull as you have not got any intention to correct my mistakes and to argue with my thoughts.
thank you in advance and go ahead!
